Through monthly episodes, mini documentaries and other audiovisual products, Avistando Peru, the first and unique Peruvian birdwatching channel, brings the astonishing lives of birds to Peruvian households in their own language, aiming to spark interest in birds to foster a deeper connection between people and nature.

A passionate team of Peruvian bird specialists travels to key birdwatching spots across Peru, from the Pacific Ocean and coastal wetlands, through the Andean glaciers, to the Amazon rainforest. Avistando Perú documents the rich variety of bird species and their natural habitats, creating educational and awareness narratives.

Our episodes are released monthly in a Story tellingstyle format, crafted to help our audience connect with the destination and feel empowered to explore it themselves, fostering empathy both for the location and the species that inhabit it. While our episodes are aimed at the Peruvian audience and are presented in Spanish, they also feature English subtitles to reach a wider audience and promote greater awareness of the importance of environmental conservation in Peru and its biodiversity. This underscores our commitment to environmental conservation in Peru.

The documentaries strategically pursue two objectives. The first is to convey a deeper message about the beauty, richness, and fragility of bird species, genera, or families, fostering a strengthening of national pride that sparks the public’s interest in respecting and protecting its natural resources.

The second objective is to serve as a tourism promotion tool for lesser-known or less-visited destinations, providing an alternative socioeconomic development opportunity for remote or excluded communities. For this reason, the documentaries are presented in both Spanish and English versions.

Healing Birds of Peru is a wordless narrative where the message is conveyed through beautiful imagery and harmonious sounds. This approach takes a unique strategy to reach its target audience. The production of these long form videos showcases fantastic birds in the most extraordinary settings, accompanied by a melody that allows for a full connection with nature.

The post-pandemic period revealed that many people needed to heal wounds and traumas, and Healing Birds delivers a message of peace, love, and, above all, healing.
